Ashtok Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

At Ashtok, we take immense pride in offering handcrafted products made by skilled artisans from rural India. Each item is unique, with slight variations in color, design, and finish — a hallmark of genuine handmade craftsmanship. These natural differences are not defects but part of the charm and authenticity of our products.

Even with these variations, we stand behind the quality of our items and are committed to customer satisfaction.

1. Important: Opening Video is Mandatory

To ensure fair processing of return or exchange requests, an unboxing (opening) video is compulsory.

  • The video must clearly show the outer packaging, opening of the parcel, and the product received.

  • The video should be unedited and continuous from start to finish.

  • Without this opening video, no return, exchange, or refund request will be accepted.


2. Return & Exchange Eligibility

  • You can return or exchange a product within 7 days from the date of delivery.

  • You must inform Ashtok Customer Support within 2 days of delivery at our registered email or WhatsApp number.

  • The product must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all original packaging, tags, and invoices.

  • Sale, clearance, and customized items are non-returnable, unless they are defective or different from the description.


3. Non-Returnable Situations

Ashtok reserves the right to deny return or exchange in the following cases:

  • No opening video provided.

  • Product used, damaged, or altered after delivery.

  • Minor variations in color, texture, or finish (as all items are handmade).

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer.

  • Package refused or not accepted by the recipient.

  • Frequent returns by the same customer (more than 3 returns in a financial year).


4. Refund Policy

If your return is approved:

  • A refund will be initiated to the original mode of payment (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, or PayPal).

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless Ashtok shipped a wrong or defective product.

  • Refunds will be processed only after receiving and verifying the returned item at our warehouse.

  • If the pin code is outside our pickup service area, you must send the parcel back to our return address at your own cost.


5. Damaged or Defective Product

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the opening video and photos.
Ashtok will:

  • Offer a free replacement, or

  • Issue a full refund (excluding shipping, if applicable).


6. Additional Conditions

  • Refunds will not be processed if the product is returned without intimation or without proper video proof.

  • Once the refund is approved, it will take 5–7 working days for the amount to reflect in your account.
