DESCRIPTION

Brass Rolu Rokali, Okhli Mussal, Rokali for Haldi Ceremony.

Unfortunately, modern living does not accommodate traditional tools like the issurrai, chaata, and rolu and rokali.

In contrast to chaata, which washed rice, issurrai acted as a mill by grinding pulses. As a wet grinder, rolu and rokali were used to pound or trammel pulses and vegetables.

With the introduction of electric grinders and mixers, the usefulness of these ancient devices rapidly decreased. Even while change is inevitable, not everything can be replaced.

Rolu and rokali are created and manufactured in brass in Ashtok for use in the wedding Haldi ceremony. This ensures complete pleasure at the wedding event.

Genuine South Indian traditions and wedding rituals are valued at www.ashtok.com

Hindu tradition dictates that the Rolu Rokali Haldi Ceremony comes first, and if it does so in perfect harmony, the wedding will be one to remember.

The surface of the brass Rolu Rokali features a handmade pattern. The pestle has lovely dangling bells all around it with a peacock design at the top. This lends the occasion a royal air.

This Rolu Rokali is manufactured of premium pure brass and is rust-free, making it long-lasting and convenient.

Ashtok Brass Rolu Rokali makes a show of being royal and great. The yellow hue of turmeric, also known as Paspu Kottadam or Paspu Danchadam, is believed to enhance the skin tone of the couple during the Haldi Ceremony and its medicinal powers to protect them from a variety of illnesses. Hindus also hold the view that using turmeric helps the couple relax before the wedding and protects them from any "evil eyes."

One of the key rituals of a Telugu wedding is this one, during which the bride asks the Goddess for a good marriage. On the day of the wedding ceremony, this pooja is done at the bride's home before she leaves for the marriage venue.

Brass has a different meaning from other metals, as is well known. Brass utensils are proven to be beneficial to our bodies in a number of ways, including boosting stamina and immunity, calming pitta (burning feelings, anger), raising hemoglobin levels, and enhancing the general health of your skin. Additionally, brass mortar and pestle are renowned for their superior functionality and resistance to corrosion.

CARE TIPS

  • Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water to create a soapy solution. Dip your cloth or sponge into the soapy water and gently scrub the brass surface. Avoid using abrasive materials that can scratch the brass.
  • After cleaning, rinse the brass rolu rokali with clean water to remove any soap residue. Ensure you rinse it completely to prevent a soapy film from forming.
  • If your brass rolu rokali has stubborn stains or tarnish, you can use lemon juice as a natural alternative. Apply lemon juice to the affected areas, let it sit for a few minutes, and then gently scrub with a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with water.
  • To restore the shine, apply a small amount of brass polish to a clean, soft cloth. Gently rub the brass surface in circular motions. Follow the product's instructions, as some brass polishes may require a specific application time.
  • Using a clean microfiber cloth, buff the brass rolu rokali to a brilliant shine. Ensure it's completely dry to prevent water spots or tarnish from reappearing.
